Top 10 Reasons to Watch the Video Game Awards 2010.

Animax premieres the Video Game Awards 2010 next week - January 23, 2011 at 7:10pm, Sunday - in your cable channels AXN, AXN Beyond, and Sony Entertainment Television.


Presented by top Hollywood celebrities, Video Game Awards 2010 will recognize outstanding qualities and achievements of games, designers, animations, and breakthrough technology of the industry in 2010. Some of the highlights are the Character of the Year and Game of the Year awards. There would also be a performance by band My Chemical Romance.

Other innovative awards include Best Driving Game, Best Adapted Video Game, Best Music Game, Best Independent Game, and Best RPG. Check out the 116 nominees in 26 categories here.

VGA 2010 will also show a sneak peak of some of the most anticipated new games in the near future through world premiere footages similar to Call of Duty : Black Ops which was bought by more people than any other video game in its first week of its release.
